What Darwin Started: Evolution and the Fossil Record

The year 2008 is both the 200th anniversary of Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his landmark work, "On the Origin of Species." Bruce Lieberman, invertebrate paleontology curator, will lead a talk about the significance of Darwin, his epochal book, and the relevance the fossil record has for our understanding of evolution.
